At Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College, studying Artificial Intelligence Systems Management (M.S.)
AI is transforming how we work, communicate, and live. I aspire to lead in this field, ensuring technology is used to protect and empower society.
Beyond my formal education, I actively apply my knowledge by tutoring a diverse range of students (ages 13-80) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics. This commitment to teaching complex subjects has honed my ability to clearly articulate technical concepts -- a skill I directly leverage when providing IT consulting services to private clients as a Sole Proprietor of YK° Services.
Some notable, or interesting things that I've done. Check them out if you'd like!
In summer 2023, I joined a Berlin startup, FENSIKA, for two months, where I gained hands-on experience that ignited my interest in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
In May 2024, I became the inaugural Computer Science intern for the Research and Development Digital Transformations team at a leading food company. Joining at the height of AI adoption, I gained firsthand experience in operationalizing technology, which sparked my ongoing focus on operationalizing artificial intelligence.
A look at how my work has reached people.
As part of my 2025 Presidential Initiative through Bloomsburg's Student Government, Community Government Association (CGA), we renewed our commitment to supporting fellow students by pledging $500,000 over five years to provide emergency scholarships to Bloomsburg students facing unexpected financial hardships.
For my Eileen G. Jones Honors College Capstone, I did research on why Berlin has become an international hub for startups. I presented this research at the Northeast Regional Honors Council (NRHC) in Harrisburg, PA.
I addressed the Bloomsburg Class of 2025, calling out stigma's in qualifications, being the "best", and finding true passion in post-graduation plans.
I addressed the Bloomsburg Class of 2024, focusing on:
1. Don't be afraid to bring up a "crazy" idea when solving problems.
2. Don't let the qualifications or experiences of others drown out your fresh perspective.
3. We often forget that knowledge is defined by educated guesses—it's fluid, and what’s true today may be false tomorrow.
